- You know, everything dies.
We were together, sitting in the rooftop. I had climbed on my own, but she knew where to find me. She always did.
- What do you mean? - I looked at her, surprised by the sudden statement.
- Nothing stays forever. Nothing lives eternally- she laid back, looking at the sky- not even those stars. They will all die someday.
I waited. I knew that, when she was in this kind of mood, she did not want questions, but answers.
- Even we will die someday. Probably sooner than them. And people never acknowledge it.- She raised her hand up, pointing at the clouds.- They are never grateful about timing. No one ever says, "Oh, I'm so happy Polaris is still alive when I came around, I really wanted to see her!", never.
I looked at the clear blue sky. The sun was hidden behind a quite large cloud, so it didn't hurt.
- They give it for granted, don't they?
And her final question came, with way more significance behind the words.
- Yeah. It's easier for them that way. - I answered.
And we looked up at the sky.
For beginners.

About the weather.
"-Have you ever heard about, hmm, wind? I'm pretty sure you have, but just in case, wind is that beautiful sensation of freedom, tha-
-Come on, grandma, not again! You are always trying to confuse us. Wind isn't freedom, wind is moving air!
-Thats right! We learnt it in school last week! And they also told us rain isn't caused by your heart overflowing with emotion and bursting out, but because water is heavy!
The twins were looking at me, scolding me lovingly. But I had to tell them.
-That is wind, alright... and that is why it rains. Both are true, of course... but that's not all of it, is it? You can always say warmth is your molecules vibrating faster, but you kids should also remember it's other, older definition; warmth is that calmness, that healing you feel inside. You should never forget the human meaning of weather phenomena, as it sometimes is as important as the scientific one..."

What, indeed.
What to
say, what to do
When the
lights fade out
When hope
is long gone
And
everything that's left for me
Are doubts?

Shall we...?
Shall we
dance? No, we can't. Why not? Because there's no chance.
Shall we
cry? No, we can't. Why not? Because there's still light.
Shall we
breathe? No, we can't. Why not? Because there's nothing here.
Shall we
bleed? No, we can't. Why not? Because we're just machines.

Shall we
smile?
No, we
can't.
Why not?
Because we
are dead inside.

La bestia (2)
Los rugidos de la bestia eran ininteligibles, pero cada uno
de ellos oía, a su paso, palabras crueles y desmedidas.
Tu
hermana te robará el trono, oía la princesa.
No
silencio.
